Donations - Penang/Malaysia's focal point for donations

The Star newspaper,MERCY and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society have joined hands to form 'The Star Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Fund'. It is at the moment,the most well coordinated donation drive in Malaysia. Follow this link for detailed information on how to donate cash or non-cash items. Clothings, foodstuff, mineral water and school equipments are also being collected. A list of collection points in all the major states is provided. This link also describes how the donations will be used and where they will be distributed locally in Malaysia and internationally to other affected countries.
